On 01/19/2010 Kennickey Kats Fallen Angel (lego) and Stewart Mt. Sasquatch (Sassy) blessed our home with the delivery of 4 kittens. Two little males and two females. Unfortunately, one week after they were born, Sassy developed a serious case of mastitis so the kittens had to be removed from her, and I am rearing these little peeps all by myself. I did lose one of the females due to stomach complications, but these three are healthy and very active kittens. As with all hand reared kittens, they are receiving an exceptional amount of direct human contact and I expect them to be easily socialized into any good home environment. They already see me as mommy, ("She's the one with all the food." LOL), and have taken to following me around the house in a set pecking order. Fatso's first, followed by the female, and the smaller male always in the rear, but trying the hardest to keep up. They are 3 weeks old at the time these pictures were taken. I believe they are at their cutest at this age, just beginning to coordinate their legs, and realizing that there is a big world out there ripe for exploration and new discovery.
The picture at the bottom of this page is of these kittens bigger brother who is currently, (according to his owner's words), "kicking tail in every show hall he enters".

This is Whopper at only 4 weeks old, having grown to almost twice as big as his brother and sister. I have concluded by watching him that he has discovered a new way of eating that neither of them has caught on to yet. I am calling it "fur-osmosis. Apparently, if he just lays in the food long enough it gets sucked right in through his fur.

Bragging Rights:

This happy fella is Kennickey Kats Houdini owned and shown by Norma Anderson, and we are so proud of him. After only two AFCA shows, (the minimum required), and at just 9 months old, he finished his Grand Championship qualification.
Sired by Kennickey Kats Fallen Angel and Dam Stewart Mt. Sasquatch. The kittens pictured above are from this same pairing. I am hopeful and somewhat expectant of seeing the same high quality in this litter.
Check back here for more updates as they occur, or for more information go to my "Contact Page" and send me an Email with your questions. Better yet just give me a call, I always enjoy discussing my furry lil people with others and getting to know better the potential homes they will be going to.
